A: After watching a live event in Halifax in 2004

Q: What’s the best advice a trainer’s given you?
A: Believe in yourself.

Q: What motivates you as a fighter or as a person to get out of bed in the morning?
A: I can’t imagine staying in bed, I like being on the go.

Q: If you could take one thing out of MMA, what would it be?
A: Hard work pays off!

Q: Take us through today- what’s your plan for the rest of the day?
A: Train have supper with my family and train some more!

Q: What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
A: I’m a Seinfeld Junkie!

A: Rob Walker

Q: The most annoying thing about practicing MMA is…
A: Laundry, laundry, laundry, constant training creates tons of laundry.

Q: Best fight you’ve ever watched live?
A: In person- Roger Hollett and Viktor Valimaky on TV toss up!….Fedor and Nogera   or Liddell and Silva

A: Johnny Cash, God’s Gonna Cut You Down, Great beat and I’m a true Country Boy!

Q: Which professional fighter’s style do you most resemble?
A: Matt Hughes ground and pound

Q: If you could be Dana White, what would you change or add to UFC?
A: I would base their opportunity on their talent and heart, not on their connections.

Q: Tell us something you do before a fight?
A: Watch the movie 300

Q: Name one thing every amateur fighter NEEDS to own?
A: Mouth guard and cup.

Q: What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I say:
Dana White? President of UFC
Dropping weight? Sauna
Joe Rogan? Fear Factor

Q: Worst injury from a fight?
A: Broken nose from Nigel Zettergreen
